Bunya MountainsThe unique Bunya Mountains National Park protects the largest remaining Bunya Pine rainforests in the world. The mountains are the only outlying section of the Great Dividing Range, rising abruptly from the rich Darling Downs & South Burnett farmland. The varied country on the mountaintop supports a wide range of flora and fauna. Scenic walking tracks lead out to panoramic vistas through vine thicket, eucalypt forest and eerie stands of grass trees where the mountain mists swirl. Along the way you’ll meet a wealth of wildlife.
